Updates on Nidhi Site
The meeting was held amongst the home owners to update them regarding Nidhi updated website by Centre Tourism Dept. And held to educate and share the application process for newbees

High Court Judgement
High Court Judgement in favor of B&B and Homestays giving them relief; and to consider and treat such units as non commercial and domestic

Recent Letter to Ministry of Tourism
We have recently sent a request letter to Honorable Tourism Minister regarding extension of period which is currently confined to 2 years for B&B License and Extending Rooms from currently 6 Rooms Cap if possible
The letter was sent as a result of earlier meetings held with all Home Stay and B&B Owners who are part of the association and were requesting for these alterations.

Meeting Held with Honorable Chief Minister Sri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu
Meeting held with Chief Minister of H.P. where issues related to B&B and Home Stay Owners in Shimla were addressed.
Honorable Chief Minister ensured that steps will be taken for benefit of Homestay and B&B Owners.

Meeting Held with Sri Anurag Thakur and Sri Kishan Reddy (Tourism Minister of India)
Meeting held with Sri Anurag Thakur & Sri Kishan Reddy regarding extension of B&B renewal period.

Meeting Held at Hotel Himland East amongst Association members
Meeting held amongst association members regarding pendency of license renewals from center and incorrect charging of commercial bills and commercial taxes imposed on members
